Top Ten Tuesday #39

Top Ten Favourite Romances

1 - The Time Travellers Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
A huge favourite, I sobbed my little heart out when I read this, and although the film is a bit different I love it all the same

2 - Safe Harbour - Danielle Steel
This was the 2nd ever adult book I read and I was totally captivated by the story and loved every second of it. To this day it is one of my favourite romance stories

3 - Pandemonium - Lauren Oliver
I loved the 'falling in love with the person you are locked up with' storyline, at first you were against the match then you became more and more in love with the couple.

4 - Sam's Letters to Jennifer - James Patterson
I'd never read James Patterson before. To this day I think his romantic ones are his best. I really enjoyed the concept of this book. It was something fairly new to me and I loved it.

5 - Water for Elephants - Sara Gruen
A book about a circus... yeah that's what I thought. Three words BEST BOOK EVER.

6 - Love on the Rocks - Veronica Henry
Just a brilliant love story - I didn't want this one to end at all!

7 - P.S I Love You - Cecelia Ahern
Heartbreaking yet totally captivating and what an amazing concept, the protagonist falls in love again after following instructions from her dead husband! Awesome!

8 - Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte
What more can I say. Total classic. I may have said this so many times before but Heathcliff's love is boundless. I love him. (and hate him at the same time)

9 - The Declaration - Gemma Malley
I love dystopian romances and this one does not disappoint. :) This series is the latest in a long line I'm sure I'll love.

10 - Random Acts of Heroic Love - Danny Scheinmann
I love these unusual concept books as you can see from above, two love stories are told alongside one another, one in the past and one in the present, the way they intertwine is incredible.
